About John Howard

John Howard, BS, CPT LMT

John Howard received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Southwest Missouri State University, 1985, majoring in Industrial Technology. In 1984, John became a certified personal trainer & sport nutritionist, IFPA. In the interim, John served as an EMT in the greater Atlanta, GA in 1994 before joining the volunteer Firefighters for the city of Alpharetta, GA. Listening to his calling to help people, John attended the Atlanta School of Massage, Rising Spirits and graduated at the top of class in 2001. Since 2003, John has spent well over 1000+ hours of continuing education which includes an apprenticeship and hands-on clinical training with Aaron Mattes, The Developer of AIS, Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening, on a quarterly basis in Sarasota, Fl. John also has experience on specified modalities such as Orthopedic Massage, Pre and Post Sports Massage, Rehabilitation, Fascial Release, Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, Reflexology, Deep Muscle Therapy, Assessments, Muscle Testing, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Lymphatic Techniques, Sports and Health Instruction, Athletic Training, Physical Education, Sports Medicine, Personal Training, Nutrition and Prevention Programs.
